So this heading is a bit misleading because the food shopping we needed to do was not available in our area, good thing it was timed in with our week of renting a car (coincidence? I don't think so). We were out of chapathi flour and basmati rice, which meant that it's time to stock up on Indian ingredients, luckily the closest place to get these essentials is across the Spanish border in Gibraltar, which is a UK jurisdiction area and kind of like a strange UK town. You walk across the border, or in this case we drove, and everything is in English and most of the UK high street shops are there, including a Morrisons supermarket. If you are from the UK and really into food and quality ingredients you would probably never go to Morrisons, but as it's a 45 minute drive from our small Spanish village, to us it's like a treasure trove.

Aside from Indian ingredients we got organic loose leaf tea, organic cocoa powder, feta and cheddar cheese, a new pot, some bowls and mugs, good ol' UK variety. Luckily we can only get here once a month.

As you can see from the sky it was another beautiful day in Andalusia...ooops I mean the UK, Gibraltar.
