Shopping in Marbella

The main reason for getting the car was to visit the Living Well Marbella show and to do some postering in the health food shops there.  Before we came I had a really bad image of Marbella, but I really like it, it's a charming city and right on the Mediterranean Sea.  Whilst we were walking around trying to get to the herboristerias (health food shops) before they closed at 2.00pm for Saturday, we lucked out to hit the monthly farmers market.

 

 The growers were mainly from north of Marbella, around Coin and near the Alpujarras mountain area.  It's orange and mandarin time, they also had the best avocados, lemons, and olive oil amongst the offerings.

A good antidote to Morrisons and a lovely addition for Marbella.
