Mysore - More Market Shopping

The main market in Mysore is called Devaraja market which is packed with fruit, veg, colours, smells, handmade crafts, kitchen ware, cows, goats, etc etc.  Although we shop mainly in Gokulum, we try to get to the market every so often to take in the fully array.

Here is a selection of photos.

Man selling jaggery, apparently the darker ones have a more rich taste, but we've also heard that it is dirty so we didn't buy here.

Coloured powder used for poojas and for decorating the pavement at the front of the house, amazingly bright.
